Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aedd Gladwin made the kick off which started today's match. Ceri Hewitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aedd Gladwin in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pellyn Flaherty in the 5th minute of play forced Llangollen's goalkeeper Ceri Hewitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceri Hewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aedd Gladwin in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Llangollen booed when Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Gill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brad Burgonmaster made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rhyd Kennyon sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Pellyn Flaherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Pellyn Flaherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceri Hewitt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pellyn Flaherty in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceri Hewitt saved Llangollen from getting behind. Pembroke Wainwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nissyen Kidder to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Nissyen Kidder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nissyen Kidder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pellyn Flaherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceri Hewitt having to interfere. Brad Burgonmaster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhyd Kennyon, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Aedd Gladwin struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ceri Hewitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend. Ceri Hewitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aedd Gladwin in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Llangollen's Rhyd Kennyon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brad Burgonmaster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute Aedd Gladwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceri Hewitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Cerdic Culpepper got a free kick in the 86th minute. Llangollen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cas Burleson in the 89th minute. The corner led Llangollen's Cas Burleson to fire away a dangerous shot which Brad Burgonmaster despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Llangollen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bridgend for a fine match.
