Cas Burleson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Parry Johnson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llangollen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gwalchmei Burdick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Parry Johnson went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Nissyen Kidder sped through UWA Baglan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gwalchmei Burdick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

UWA Baglan's Gwalchmei Burdick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nissyen Kidder in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, UWA Baglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cant Love to maneuver through the defense. Rhyd Kennyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gwalchmei Burdick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhyd Kennyon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gwalchmei Burdick made a huge save. Nissyen Kidder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwalchmei Burdick having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Wren Fielding came free, but Ceri Hewitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nissyen Kidder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gwalchmei Burdick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Nissyen Kidder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Baglan's Gwalchmei Burdick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Wren Fielding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wren Fielding fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceri Hewitt having to interfere. UWA Baglan's Cant Love got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rhyd Kennyon took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwalchmei Burdick. Gwalchmei Burdick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Nissyen Kidder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rhyd Kennyon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Llangollen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UWA Baglan.
