Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Rhett Lister started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gwyglet Barnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yestin Harden in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Rhyl got a freekick which was hit by Heilyn Benton. Llanberis FC's Gwyglet Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yestin Harden in the 9th minute of play. Kent Fergus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhett Lister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colwyn Spurrer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Colwyn Spurrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Colwyn Spurrer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Yestin Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Rhyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calcas Alvey to maneuver through the defense. Kent Fergus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhett Lister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Rhyl got a freekick which was hit by Heilyn Benton. Kent Fergus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhett Lister in the 36th minute of the match. Rhyl's Kent Fergus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Rhyl from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lloyd Hibberd to make the kick off. Gwyglet Barnes made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Yestin Harden sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Rhett Lister got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lloyd Hibberd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gwyglet Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadwgawn Graham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kent Fergus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goal looked a bit too open when Rhett Lister came free, but Kent Fergus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Rhett Lister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llanberis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rhett Lister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iona Armitage was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Gwyglet Barnes, was totally fooled by Rhyl's Baudwin Fry, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kent Fergus came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Llanberis FC's Cadwgawn Graham. But to his dismay, Cadwgawn Graham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Llanberis FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
