An unexpectedly hard shot by Selyf Fitzgerald in the 7th minute of play forced UWA Flint's goalkeeper Bors Flesher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Myrddin Frost rounded UWA Prestatyn's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Bors Flesher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selyf Fitzgerald in the 14th minute of play. Selyf Fitzgerald might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bors Flesher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Selyf Fitzgerald ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of UWA Flint booed when UWA Prestatyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heulyn Drover didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, UWA Flint's goal looked a bit too open when Selyf Fitzgerald came free, but Bors Flesher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, UWA Prestatyn's Bran Brahan got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Bellieus Coe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Prestatyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bellieus Coe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gamon Cottle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myrddin Frost, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selyf Fitzgerald took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bors Flesher. Bors Flesher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Selyf Fitzgerald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Selyf Fitzgerald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bors Flesher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gamon Cottle was left in no man's land by his defense there! UWA Prestatyn were furious when Timotheus Budge was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 71st minute, one of UWA Prestatyn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UWA Prestatyn. Gamon Cottle went to the wrong direction when Penn Bullock was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 77th match minute, UWA Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blathaon Futter to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, UWA Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Tarrant Haran came free, but Gamon Cottle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Pelles Carson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Prestatyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 96th match minute, UWA Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myrddin Frost to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute, Bellieus Coe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bors Flesher. The goal made the score 2-5. When the final whistle sounded UWA Prestatyn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UWA Flint.
