Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Baddon Glazier made the kick off which started today's match. Cadfael Canada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Brad Burgonmaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Baddon Glazier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brad Burgonmaster, passed just outside the right post. 9 minutes into the game, Cadfael Canada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Brad Burgonmaster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, Baddon Glazier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brad Burgonmaster. The goal made the score 2-0. After some careless play in the Bridgend FC defense, Aedd Gladwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cairn Hassett. The Bridgend FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cairn Hassett should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Pellyn Flaherty put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cairn Hassett. 31 minutes into the match, Bridgend FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aedd Gladwin came free, but Cairn Hassett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aedd Gladwin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cairn Hassett saved Bridgend FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Baddon Glazier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cadfael Canada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cadfael Canada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bridgend booed when Bridgend FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cadfael Canada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brad Burgonmaster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baddon Glazier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baddon Glazier struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Brad Burgonmaster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aedd Gladwin made the kick off in the second half. Cairn Hassett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aedd Gladwin's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Aedd Gladwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cairn Hassett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pellyn Flaherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brad Burgonmaster came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bridgend FC's Cadfael Canada. But to his dismay, Cadfael Canada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgend FC's zone, Pellyn Flaherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cairn Hassett came out of the goal and Pellyn Flaherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Baddon Glazier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Burgonmaster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brad Burgonmaster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadfael Canada in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Aedd Gladwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bridgend FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bridgend had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
