The referee ignored UWA Talgarth's protests and gave Mordwywr Gaoler a yellow card for diving instead. Bridgend's Pellyn Flaherty got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Jones Spurrer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Talgarth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bridgend the free kick. Jones Spurrer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Keith Gill shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mabon Gay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Renfrew Dacre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Burgonmaster having to interfere. Renfrew Dacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pellyn Flaherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Pyrs Hetherington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Brad Burgonmaster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pwyll Henn, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Pellyn Flaherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Pellyn Flaherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mabon Gay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maelwys Bunch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pellyn Flaherty struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Mabon Gay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend. A collision led to UWA Talgarth getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anwar Carver hit a great ball. Cerdic Culpepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mabon Gay made a huge save. Brad Burgonmaster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renfrew Dacre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Renfrew Dacre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Renfrew Dacre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Talgarth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 92 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Pyrs Hetherington. After recieving a nice pass, UWA Talgarth's Anwar Carver tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pwyll Henn struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Brad Burgonmaster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Talgarth. UWA Talgarth's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
