Cadwgawn Graham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pwyll Henn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Gwyglet Barnes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pwyll Henn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhett Lister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mabon Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renfrew Dacre was the one to do the kick off. When Renfrew Dacre fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Talgarth's protests and gave Renfrew Dacre a yellow card for diving instead. Renfrew Dacre hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper Mabon Gay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Colwyn Spurrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwyglet Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pwyll Henn in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renfrew Dacre in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwyglet Barnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pwyll Henn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyglet Barnes having to interfere. If Renfrew Dacre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Renfrew Dacre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gwyglet Barnes. Llanberis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renfrew Dacre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 86th minute Renfrew Dacre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyglet Barnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Llanberis FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
