Gwern Flood was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geraint Deanly. 98 minutes into the match, Cardiff's goal looked a bit too open when Moesen Beale came free, but Mabsant Beal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UWA Cardigan had won after a very even match.
