Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, one of UWA Bridgend:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Caerleon Utd a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iago Convery, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UWA Bridgend's Mabon Jolson. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Pennar Aykroyd came free, but Sinnoch Ashley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iowerth Caudle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Myrddin Beers scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sinnoch Ashley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edern Gearan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mabon Jolson came out and tried to block the shot, but Edern Gearan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. Myrddin Beers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinnoch Ashley having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Lavaine Goodman made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Andras Halliday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mabon Jolson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iowerth Caudle in the 55th minute of play. Edern Gearan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Jolson having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Iowerth Caudle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sinnoch Ashley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavaine Goodman in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goalkeeper Sinnoch Ashley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Myrddin Beers. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caerleon Utd's goalkeeper Sinnoch Ashley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mabon Jolson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edern Gearan's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Corryn Elsworth kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Iowerth Caudle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Pennar Aykroyd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Bridgend's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caerleon Utd the free kick. If Iowerth Caudle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caerleon Utd had won after a very even match.
