Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Boryla in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwern Flood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Myrddin Lyons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moesen Beale was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. UWA Cardigan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper Gwern Flood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, UWA Cardigan's Moesen Beale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Bryn Hildreth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Emrys Hatton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UWA Cardigan's Gwern Flood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrys Hatton in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to UWA Llangollen getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Beven Cribban hit a great ball. Andreas Boryla struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gwern Flood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Llangollen. The UWA Llangollen players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented UWA Cardigan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
