Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edern Gearan started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Taliesin Holcombe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhyl's Siawn Dacre got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trahern Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taliesin Holcombe kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Iowerth Caudle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drystan Haydon having to interfere. A collision led to Caerleon Utd getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gilbert Crosby hit a great ball. Edern Gearan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Lug French got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Iowerth Caudle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drystan Haydon. Rhyl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iowerth Caudle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Edern Gearan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Drystan Haydon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Iowerth Caudle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drystan Haydon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trahern Fowler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sinnoch Ashley having to interfere. Edern Gearan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kai Blacksmith's late challenge caught a Caerleon Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kai Blacksmith helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Kai Blacksmith got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Edern Gearan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rhyl's Drystan Haydon. Drystan Haydon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trahern Fowler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Siawn Dacre struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Sinnoch Ashley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhyl. The audience was convinced that Trahern Fowler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sinnoch Ashley was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Gilbert Crosby charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Crosby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rhyl booed when Caerleon Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Crosby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rhyl's zone, Edern Gearan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drystan Haydon came out of the goal and Edern Gearan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iowerth Caudle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rhyl booed when Caerleon Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ifor Farr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trahern Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, Caerleon Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Crosby to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Steffan Emery shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sinnoch Ashley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Trahern Fowler sped through Caerleon Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sinnoch Ashley. Trahern Fowler struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Sinnoch Ashley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhyl. Sinnoch Ashley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siawn Dacre in the 87th minute of play. Caerleon Utd's Sinnoch Ashley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trahern Fowler in the 91st minute of play. Trahern Fowler took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sinnoch Ashley. Sinnoch Ashley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The Caerleon Utd players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rhyl from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
