The Rhyl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Drystan Haydon should have stopped the shot. Trahern Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iau Leeche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rhyl getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bedwyr Duff hit a great ball. Siawn Dacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Drystan Haydon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Brazier, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Trahern Fowler charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Trahern Fowler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Rhyl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trahern Fowler to maneuver through the defense. Iau Leeche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Iau Leeche came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cardiff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iau Leeche couldn't finish the play. Trahern Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
