Cubert Covell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Reese Cochrane when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 9 played minutes Llandysul got a freekick which was hit by Gwyneira Ashcroft. After some careless play in the Llandysul defense, Kenyon Head kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edern Denny. The Llandysul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edern Denny should have stopped the shot. Edern Denny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenyon Head went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Edern Denny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenyon Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reese Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peredur Longshoreman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peredur Longshoreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwawl Findley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barry FC's zone, Cubert Covell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reese Cochrane came out of the goal and Cubert Covell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Pellyn Ingram got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Barry FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iestyn Cosgrave to maneuver through the defense. Peredur Longshoreman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reese Cochrane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Llandysul's goalkeeper Edern Denny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenyon Head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenyon Head got free with Edern Denny in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Anwell Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwyneira Ashcroft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reese Cochrane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cubert Covell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Peredur Longshoreman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llandysul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barry FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
