An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Emrys Hatton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Andreas Boryla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabon Jolson having to interfere. UWA Bridgend's Myrddin Beers got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lavaine Goodman charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lavaine Goodman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lavaine Goodman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavaine Goodman in the 27th minute of play forced UWA Llangollen's goalkeeper Parry Crossman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UWA Bridgend booed when UWA Llangollen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nodens Gore didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see UWA Bridgend's Seith Lardner in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. Mabon Jolson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Andreas Boryla sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Kevyn Hewitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Bridgend's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Llangollen the free kick. Corryn Elsworth charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
