Spectators: 6803 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peredur Longshoreman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edern Denny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moesen Beale in the 3rd minute of the match. If Peredur Longshoreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garym Hugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gwern Flood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cynan Currier took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwern Flood. Gwern Flood dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. UWA Cardigan's Gwern Flood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peredur Longshoreman in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Bryn Hildreth managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Cardigan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryn Hildreth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edern Denny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cubert Covell came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Llandysul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cubert Covell couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Gwyneira Ashcroft got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Moesen Beale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cubert Covell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Flood having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Llandysul's Peredur Longshoreman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moesen Beale to strike the kick off in the second half. Bryn Hildreth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Edern Denny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 57 minutes into the match, UWA Cardigan's Moesen Beale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edern Denny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Cynan Currier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes UWA Cardigan got a freekick which was hit by Amren Vulcan. Gwyneira Ashcroft took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gwern Flood. UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cubert Covell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Flood having to interfere. The supporters of UWA Cardigan booed when Llandysul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garym Hugh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Amren Vulcan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edern Denny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, UWA Cardigan's Moesen Beale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edern Denny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tegvan Hayward kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rhain Atkin during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bryn Hildreth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edern Denny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peredur Longshoreman scored 6-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwern Flood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. UWA Cardigan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
