Gwallawg Case recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, UWA Bangor's goal looked a bit too open when Lavaine Goodman came free, but Drwst Gabriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Bangor's zone, Myrddin Beers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drwst Gabriel came out of the goal and Myrddin Beers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Iolo Hind came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the UWA Bangor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iolo Hind couldn't finish the play. When UWA Bangor's Iolo Hind in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Gwallawg Case came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the UWA Bangor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwallawg Case couldn't finish the play. The UWA Bridgend players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Bangor were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lavaine Goodman to strike the kick off in the second half. Mabon Jolson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffan Findley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Iolo Hind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 played minutes UWA Bangor got a freekick which was hit by Prys Diarmid. Lavaine Goodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 84 minutes of play, UWA Bridgend's Lavaine Goodman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drwst Gabriel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Myrddin Beers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's Lavaine Goodman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Drwst Gabriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, UWA Bridgend's Mabon Jolson got control of the ball when Gwallawg Case tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
