Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) Edern Gearan made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Renfrew Canning came free, but Sinnoch Ashley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorsedd Drinkwater in the 4th minute of play forced Caerleon Utd's goalkeeper Sinnoch Ashley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celyn Harper in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sinnoch Ashley saved Caerleon Utd from getting behind. Iowerth Caudle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwallter Puddler having to interfere. Gwallter Puddler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edern Gearan in the 16th minute of play. After 17th play minutes Kynlas Follet shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Sinnoch Ashley and just under the crossbar into goal. Nynnyaw Hanauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sinnoch Ashley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nynnyaw Hanauer ran back to his position shaking his head. Kynlas Follet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nynnyaw Hanauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caerleon Utd's Sinnoch Ashley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kynlas Follet in the 24th minute of play. Edern Gearan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Kynlas Follet came free, but Sinnoch Ashley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Crosby struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gwallter Puddler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caerleon Utd. 48 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Kynlas Follet came free, but Sinnoch Ashley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kynlas Follet made a kick off. Iowerth Caudle scored 3-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwallter Puddler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edern Gearan in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwallter Puddler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montgomery Utd's goalkeeper Gwallter Puddler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Caerleon Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iowerth Caudle to maneuver through the defense. If Kynlas Follet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Nynnyaw Hanauer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sinnoch Ashley was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Gwallter Puddler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edern Gearan went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Iowerth Caudle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwallter Puddler having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montgomery Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caerleon Utd.
