Romney Flannery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cynan Cullin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Cynan Cullin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Caradawg Flower ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greid Cockwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caradawg Flower scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greid Cockwell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dyvyr Kidder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llangollen's supporters rose to their feet, but Dyvyr Kidder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romney Flannery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Knighton FC's zone, Cynan Cullin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romney Flannery came out of the goal and Cynan Cullin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romney Flannery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cynan Cullin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dyvyr Kidder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romney Flannery having to make a save. Cynan Cullin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caradawg Flower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Greid Cockwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romney Flannery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cynan Cullin in the 40th minute of the match. Llangollen's Kilydd Tapley suffered a sprained foot after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Knighton FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Llwyd Isham hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Llangollen's Dyvyr Kidder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romney Flannery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Llangollen's Greid Cockwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwitart Goodson in the 48th minute of play. The Llangollen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Knighton FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dyvyr Kidder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dyvyr Kidder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwitart Goodson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Greid Cockwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greid Cockwell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Caradawg Flower showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. If Dyvyr Kidder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dyvyr Kidder struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Romney Flannery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen. Greid Cockwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caradawg Flower, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Gwitart Goodson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwitart Goodson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caradawg Flower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwitart Goodson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Greid Cockwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greid Cockwell made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Gwitart Goodson sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Knighton FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
