Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Talgarth's Gwyneira Faherty started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Talgarth got a freekick which was hit by Arawn Keating. If Cynan Cullin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute Gwyneira Faherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greid Cockwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Llangollen's zone, Gwyneira Faherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greid Cockwell came out of the goal and Gwyneira Faherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Llangollen getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dillan Cotterell hit a great ball. Druce Brin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Greid Cockwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cynan Cullin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermid Hawley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dyvyr Kidder, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Talgarth's zone, Dyvyr Kidder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermid Hawley came out of the goal and Dyvyr Kidder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Llangollen got a corner. Talgarth's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ren Arendell ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gwyneira Faherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greid Cockwell having to interfere. Ermid Hawley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cynan Cullin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, Arawn Keating was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talgarth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llangollen the free kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Cynan Cullin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talgarth's Ermid Hawley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Greid Cockwell made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Druce Brin sent off a good shot on target. Dyvyr Kidder struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ermid Hawley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen. After a defensive mix-up in Talgarth's zone, Cynan Cullin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermid Hawley came out of the goal and Cynan Cullin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cynan Cullin to make the kick off. Llangollen were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Talgarth's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ren Arendell took the corner. The corner led Llangollen's Ren Arendell to fire away a dangerous shot which Ermid Hawley despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Llangollen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dillan Cotterell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyneira Faherty came free, but Greid Cockwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llangollen's Greid Cockwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Druce Brin in the 65th minute of play. If Gwyneira Faherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cynan Cullin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dyvyr Kidder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermid Hawley having to interfere. Dyvyr Kidders short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ermid Hawley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Llangollen's Griflet Kavanaugh got a free kick in the 76th minute. Greid Cockwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyneira Faherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Gwyneira Faherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Greid Cockwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dyvyr Kidder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
