Spectators: 6801 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gwalchmei Covell kicked off to start the match. Anyon Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romney Flannery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwalchmei Covell in the 5th minute of the match. Caradawg Flower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Knighton's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gwitart Goodson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anyon Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwalchmei Covell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Romney Flannery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadman Jones charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cadman Jones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cadman Jones hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Gwalchmei Covell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romney Flannery having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anyon Henry in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romney Flannery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romney Flannery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anyon Henry in the 25th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Knighton FC got a freekick which was hit by Goronwy Halstead. Knighton FC's Romney Flannery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwalchmei Covell in the 35th minute of play. If Anyon Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anyon Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Gwalchmei Covell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caradawg Flower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mercher Jamison having to interfere. Gwitart Goodson might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mercher Jamison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gwitart Goodson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Gwitart Goodson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mercher Jamison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amlawdd Fairbanks was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, one of Knighton FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Romney Flannery went to the wrong direction when Gareth Herring was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Knighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trent Cain to maneuver through the defense. Dillan Gee charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dillan Gee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, one of Knighton:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Knighton. When Llwyd Isham came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Knighton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llwyd Isham couldn't finish the play. Llwyd Isham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mercher Jamison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cadman Jones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knighton FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Gwalchmei Covell scored to the left of an out of position Romney Flannery, making the score, 1-1. Llyr Andrews blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mercher Jamison having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
