Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) Arawn Keating hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gareth Herring was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gwalchmei Covell might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermid Hawley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gwalchmei Covell ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermid Hawley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anyon Henry in the 16th minute. Anyon Henry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ermid Hawley came out and tried to block the shot, but Anyon Henry slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. After 26 played minutes, Talgarth's Pennar Kellock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mercher Jamison came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talgarth reached it. Mercher Jamison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyneira Faherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mercher Jamison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Druce Brin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Talgarth's Druce Brin in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Knighton's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute of the match Pennar Kellock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mercher Jamison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Gwyneira Faherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mercher Jamison was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Anyon Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gwalchmei Covell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Druce Brin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mercher Jamison having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Knighton's Evrei Blakey got a free kick in the 45th minute. Druce Brin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mercher Jamison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gwyneira Faherty made the kick off in the second half. If Gwalchmei Covell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Druce Brin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Gwyneira Faherty got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 60th match minute, Knighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evrei Blakey to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Evrei Blakey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knighton's Evrei Blakey got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Evrei Blakey off the ground. Mercher Jamison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyneira Faherty in the 69th minute of play. Trent Cain took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermid Hawley. Ermid Hawley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gwyneira Faherty who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Mercher Jamison when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Druce Brin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwalchmei Covell hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Gwyneira Faherty in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Knighton's Mercher Jamison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyneira Faherty in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Knighton's zone, Gwyneira Faherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mercher Jamison came out of the goal and Gwyneira Faherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwyneira Faherty in the 93rd minute of play forced Knighton's goalkeeper Mercher Jamison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gwalchmei Covell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
