The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Malvern Conlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilydd Tapley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lavaine Bushfield kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Dyvyr Kidder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malvern Conlan. UWA Ely's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dyvyr Kidder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ren Arendell's late challenge caught a UWA Ely's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ren Arendell helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Llangollen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for UWA Ely. Brys Snobscat stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Greid Cockwell. 2-1. Kilydd Tapley kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Drwst Luce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greid Cockwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. UWA Ely's Malvern Conlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cynan Cullin in the 39th minute of play. Brice Copp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dillan Cotterell kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. UWA Ely's Brice Copp managed to work through Llangollen's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Brice Copp dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cynan Cullin to make the kick off. Malvern Conlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cynan Cullin went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 58 played minutes UWA Ely got a freekick which was hit by Brice Copp. 60 minutes into the game, Teregud Carmack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Ely's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llangollen the free kick. In the 60th match minute, UWA Ely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teregud Carmack to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Cynan Cullin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malvern Conlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llangollen's Dyvyr Kidder got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. UWA Ely's Teregud Carmack got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Teregud Carmack off the ground. After 73 played minutes UWA Ely got a freekick which was hit by Teregud Carmack. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lavaine Bushfield during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lavaine Bushfield hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Brice Copp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malvern Conlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dyvyr Kidder in the 87th minute of the match. Greid Cockwell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brice Copp in the 89th minute. Llangollen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
