The referee ignored Treorchy's protests and gave Vaddon Boniface a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Treorchy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Talgarth's Druce Brin got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Treorchy's zone, Druce Brin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dewey Lynn came out of the goal and Druce Brin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Arawn Keating who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Treorchy's Dewey Lynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Treorchy's goalkeeper Dewey Lynn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Treorchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andras Heaton to maneuver through the defense. Talgarth's Druce Brin got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Druce Brin in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dewey Lynn saved Treorchy from getting behind.
