Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Collen Hernon made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Maesteg FC's Neued Lowery got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Llandysul's goalkeeper Digon Donovan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angawdd Hewitt made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gleis Lloyd sent off a good shot on target. Drwst Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angawdd Hewitt having to interfere. Maesteg FC's Cadwaladr Kern got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Collen Hernon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maesteg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Collen Hernon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Digon Donovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beli Brazier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angawdd Hewitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Beli Brazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Maesteg FC's goalkeeper Angawdd Hewitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gleis Lloyd. After 41 played minutes Llandysul got a freekick which was hit by Drwst Collins. The supporters of Llandysul booed when Maesteg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudur Herring didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beli Brazier struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Angawdd Hewitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llandysul. Collen Hernon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digon Donovan having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beli Brazier was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Maesteg FC defense, Beli Brazier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angawdd Hewitt. The Maesteg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angawdd Hewitt should have stopped the shot. Llandysul's Digon Donovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Collen Hernon in the 56th minute of play. Drwst Collins charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drwst Collins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Drwst Collins hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Drystan Kinnavy, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Llandysul's goalkeeper Digon Donovan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadwaladr Kern. When Gleis Lloyd came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Llandysul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gleis Lloyd couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Rhychdir Baccus in the 68th minute really tested Digon Donovan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 76th minute, Collen Hernon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With an all-out effort, Maesteg FC's Digon Donovan threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Collen Hernon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd minute, Owein Catton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olwydd Culleen missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 84 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Angawdd Hewitt right hand side. Gleis Lloyd struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Angawdd Hewitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llandysul. Beli Brazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Angawdd Hewitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Collen Hernon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Digon Donovan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
