A collision led to UWA Penarth getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Olwydd Blair hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, UWA Penarth's Cadell Cummins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melkin Dunn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerth Chase in the 15th minute of play forced UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Conwy Cowen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Penvro Farthing in the 19th minute really tested Conwy Cowen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. UWA Penarth's Conwy Cowen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerth Chase in the 22nd minute of play. Nerth Chase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nerth Chases short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Conwy Cowen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute, UWA Penarth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nerth Chase fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nerthach Clifton kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Siam Dowthwaite managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Beaumaris's supporters rose to their feet, but Siam Dowthwaite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conwy Cowen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The UWA Beaumaris players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Penarth were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cadell Cummins was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nerthach Clifton to maneuver through the defense. UWA Beaumaris's Nerth Chase got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadell Cummins in the 60th minute of play forced UWA Beaumaris's goalkeeper Melkin Dunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadell Cummins took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melkin Dunn. Melkin Dunn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Pedr Vulcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UWA Penarth's Conwy Cowen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerth Chase in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwyr Dexter to maneuver through the defense. Garnock Cockane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brys Lindley struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Conwy Cowen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Beaumaris. After 84 minutes, Garnock Cockane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Beaumaris and the UWA Penarth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Garnock Cockane kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dirmyg Cash got free with Melkin Dunn in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dirmyg Cash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Cadell Cummins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melkin Dunn. Cadell Cummins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 95th minute Brys Lindley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conwy Cowen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UWA Penarth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
