Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mostyn Linkletter in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llyn Flannery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lovel Beale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amaethon Cribban in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cadfan Huckaby got free with Lovel Beale in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mercher Avery made a kick off. In the 97th minute, Ifor Dineen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute of the match Lludd Cantwell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Llyn Flannery showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The UWA Abergele players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented UWA Cardiff from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
