In the 19th minute, Peredur Lunshekaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Port Talbot FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Llyn Flannery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Broderick Spurrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Peredur Lunshekaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teryrnon Knox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaethon Cribban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaethon Cribban in the 33rd minute of play forced Port Talbot FC's goalkeeper Teryrnon Knox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadfan Huckaby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaethon Cribban in the 36th minute of play forced Port Talbot FC's goalkeeper Teryrnon Knox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadfan Huckaby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadfan Huckaby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UWA Cardiff's Llyn Flannery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Cardiff from getting a goal against them. After having played for 47 minutes, Kilydd Hussey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Cardiff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilydd Hussey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Broderick Spurrer made the kick off in the second half. Sugyn Ingersoll hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Teryrnon Knox made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cadfan Huckaby in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Port Talbot FC's Peredur Lunshekaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Llyn Flannery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Amaethon Cribban struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Teryrnon Knox didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Cardiff. If Cadfan Huckaby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, UWA Cardiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lloyd Inge to maneuver through the defense. When Port Talbot FC's Broderick Spurrer in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UWA Cardiff's goalie prevented a goal. Port Talbot FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
