UWA Cardiff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llandudno the free kick. After 9 played minutes UWA Cardiff got a freekick which was hit by Kilydd Hussey. Rhisiart Hacker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Griflet Gibbons having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Gerwin Atkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llandudno and the UWA Cardiff players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of UWA Cardiff booed when Llandudno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerwin Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalldav Boryla's late challenge caught a UWA Cardiff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Griflet Gibbons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaethon Cribban in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of UWA Cardiff booed when Llandudno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerwin Atkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Though ot was a great shot Llandudno's keeper Griflet Gibbons was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cadfan Huckaby managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Cardiff's supporters rose to their feet, but Cadfan Huckaby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Griflet Gibbons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd match minute, Llandudno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prydwen Foltz to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llandudno's goalkeeper Griflet Gibbons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
