When Amaethon Cribban came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the UWA Cardiff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amaethon Cribban couldn't finish the play. UWA Cardiff's Cadfan Huckaby got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llyn Flannery didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timotheus Henderson went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Llyn Flannery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timotheus Henderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amaethon Cribban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amaethon Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llyn Flannery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kian Finlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Timotheus Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bors Flannelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaethon Brien having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kian Finlay in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llyn Flannery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Llyn Flannery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kian Finlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cadfan Huckaby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kian Finlay made the kick off in the second half. Timotheus Henderson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 52nd playminute. After having played for 57 minutes, Kilydd Hussey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Cardiff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilydd Hussey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Amaethon Cribban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amaethon Brien. UWA Cardigan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amaethon Cribban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Cadfan Huckaby struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Amaethon Brien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Cardiff. Timotheus Henderson in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Llyn Flannery, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kian Finlay in the 70th minute of play forced UWA Cardiff's goalkeeper Llyn Flannery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llyn Flannery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kian Finlay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UWA Cardigan's Amaethon Brien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amaethon Cribban in the 72nd minute of play. Sulyen Large sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timotheus Henderson got free with Llyn Flannery in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of UWA Cardigan booed when UWA Cardiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bors Flannelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Timotheus Henderson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Llyn Flannery. UWA Cardiff's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timotheus Henderson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Amaethon Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadfan Huckaby in the 89th minute of play. If Kian Finlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amaethon Cribban in the 97th minute of play forced UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper Amaethon Brien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UWA Cardigan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
