Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) Lampeter's Perceval Gallagher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, UWA Abergele's goalkeeper Lovel Beale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Llwyr Henry. After 6th play minutes Mostyn Linkletter shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Lloyd Jarman and just under the crossbar into goal. Lloyd Jarman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mostyn Linkletter, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Llwyr Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Lovel Beale made a huge save. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Abergele's goalkeeper Lovel Beale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alwyn Freeh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lovel Beale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Perceval Gallagher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lovel Beale. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. In the 29th match minute, UWA Abergele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taffy Hassett to maneuver through the defense. Lloyd Jarman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mostyn Linkletter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Llwyr Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Mostyn Linkletter made a precise shot to the right of Lloyd Jarman. Lampeter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Lloyd Jarman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mostyn Linkletter, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Mercher Avery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half UWA Abergele were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mercher Avery to strike the kick off in the second half. Perceval Gallagher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lovel Beale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mercher Avery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Jarman having to interfere. If Llwyr Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Abergele's Lovel Beale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perceval Gallagher in the 63rd minute of play. Perceval Gallagher might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lovel Beale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perceval Gallagher ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Perceval Gallagher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lovel Beale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lampeter's Llwyr Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lovel Beale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perceval Gallagher in the 73rd minute of play. Lampeter's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mercher Avery 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lampeter's goalkeeper Lloyd Jarman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perceval Gallagher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lovel Beale having to interfere. UWA Abergele's Lovel Beale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perceval Gallagher in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UWA Abergele eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
