If Perceval Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Llwyr Henry came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Lampeter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llwyr Henry couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Broderick Spurrer to strike the kick off in the second half. Lampeter's Lloyd Jarman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Broderick Spurrer in the 52nd minute of play. Teryrnon Knox stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perceval Gallagher's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Broderick Spurrer in the 59th minute of play forced Lampeter's goalkeeper Lloyd Jarman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerdic Letson's late challenge caught a Port Talbot FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cerdic Letson helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lampeter fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute, Carnedyr Browne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Port Talbot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Perceval Gallagher came free, but Teryrnon Knox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ol Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Perceval Gallagher fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teryrnon Knox, passed just outside the right post. In the 83rd minute, Broderick Spurrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Broderick Spurrer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lloyd Jarman. Lampeter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Broderick Spurrer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a little luck, Port Talbot FC's Teryrnon Knox got control of the ball when Brathach Chadwick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Port Talbot FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
