Lampeter's Lloyd Jarman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conwy Chaney in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Anyon Gavins put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lloyd Jarman. Llwyr Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfri Corr having to interfere. Lloyd Jarman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conwy Chaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
