The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper Amaethon Brien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peredur Lunshekaun. If Peredur Lunshekaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amaethon Brien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peredur Lunshekaun in the 18th minute. Peredur Lunshekaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amaethon Brien having to interfere. Amaethon Brien came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Port Talbot FC's Peredur Lunshekaun. But to his dismay, Peredur Lunshekaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 30th match minute, UWA Cardigan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Gale to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Barri Haugh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amaethon Brien skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Rhett Donnelly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amaethon Brien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amaethon Brien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peredur Lunshekaun went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Port Talbot FC booed when UWA Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sulyen Large didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Broderick Spurrer made a kick off. Port Talbot FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kian Finlay 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Port Talbot FC's Teryrnon Knox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Port Talbot FC from getting a goal against them. Rhett Donnelly took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amaethon Brien. UWA Cardigan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Broderick Spurrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amaethon Brien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peredur Lunshekaun in the 76th minute of the match. Kian Finlay did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Teryrnon Knox 82 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 86th minute, but Teryrnon Knox got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Port Talbot FC hanging dry this time. Amaethon Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Broderick Spurrer in the 88th minute of play. Port Talbot FC's Teryrnon Knox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Port Talbot FC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, UWA Cardigan's goal looked a bit too open when Broderick Spurrer came free, but Amaethon Brien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irvin Ikin's late challenge caught a Port Talbot FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irvin Ikin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UWA Cardigan's Irvin Ikin got a free kick in the 96th minute.
