Maddox Head didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wrexham FC. 5 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wrexham FC's Heilyn Armitage fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Heilyn Armitage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Maddox Head tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heilyn Armitage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maddox Head having to make a save. Maddox Head took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaddon Conant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Govan Loughnane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Seith Attwood rounded Wrexham FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Maddox Head made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaddon Conant in the 35th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Iau Doran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maddox Head quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Vaddon Conant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heilyn Armitage made a kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Wrexham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Seith Attwood came free, but Gwyr Hernon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwyr Hernon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seith Attwood in the 65th minute of play. Seith Attwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyr Hernon having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Wrexham FC got a freekick which was hit by Kynwal Baccus. Cadwaladr Canada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Wrexham FC's zone, Cadwaladr Canada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwyr Hernon came out of the goal and Cadwaladr Canada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vaddon Conant came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Wrexham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaddon Conant couldn't finish the play. Vaddon Conant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Maddox Head made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wrexham FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cardiff FC.
