Parry Cottle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mael Tucker went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ol Bullock hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Arawn Giggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedyw Bailie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Wren Crowl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedyw Bailie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Parry Cottle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwres Felton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parry Cottle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mael Tucker, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to UWA Knighton getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cadwaladr Gettins hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Arawn Giggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Bedyw Bailie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arawn Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Arawn Giggs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bedyw Bailie having to make a save. Cant Finan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Arawn Giggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prestatyn Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arawn Giggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedyw Bailie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cant Finan in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Cadwaladr Gettins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cant Finan in the 72nd minute of play forced UWA Knighton's goalkeeper Bedyw Bailie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arawn Giggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedyw Bailie having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Gwres Felton put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Parry Cottle. Prestatyn Utd's Cant Finan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
