The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, UWA Prestatyn's goal looked a bit too open when Blathaon Gillman came free, but Maelwys Kemple reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llandudno's Heulyn Brigham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taliesin Wagoner in the 7th minute of play. Anynnawg Arnold's late challenge caught a Llandudno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anynnawg Arnold helped the player get up and apologised. 10 minutes into the game, Dirmyg Greener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maelwys Kemple was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heulyn Brigham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taliesin Wagoner in the 15th minute of the match. Taliesin Wagoner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Heulyn Brigham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Llandudno. Dirmyg Greener stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maelwys Kemple. 0-2. In the 26th minute of the match Dirmyg Greener sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maelwys Kemple skillfully saved the ball. Blathaon Gillman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maelwys Kemple having to interfere. Maelwys Kemple showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blathaon Gillman in the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot 36 in the game by Mabsant Floyd from a close distance when the talented Heulyn Brigham managed to make a qualified save. Llandudno's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taliesin Wagoner in the 38th minute of play forced Llandudno's goalkeeper Heulyn Brigham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The UWA Prestatyn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Llandudno were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taliesin Wagoner was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to UWA Prestatyn getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bogart Gettins hit a great ball. When Dillan Curtis fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llandudno's protests and gave Dillan Curtis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, one of Llandudno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Llandudno. Maelwys Kemple stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blathaon Gillman's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Mabsant Floyd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heulyn Brigham having to make a save. After 69 played minutes UWA Prestatyn got a freekick which was hit by Griflet Boyle. Maelwys Kemple took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blathaon Gillman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Prestatyn's zone, Blathaon Gillman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maelwys Kemple came out of the goal and Blathaon Gillman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blathaon Gillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Maelwys Kemple tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hydd Berry fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llandudno's protests and gave Hydd Berry a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Llandudno's Hydd Berry got a free kick in the 80th minute. Griflet Boyle hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Pwyll Bonds shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heulyn Brigham showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Llandudno's Andreas Darwin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mabsant Floyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Darwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Llandudno walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
