Gwyglet Snobscat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parry Cottle having to interfere. Parry Cottle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhun Cleary, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Guinglain Herrington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cant Finan in the 27th minute. The supporters of Prestatyn Utd booed when UWA Newtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhett Delany didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, UWA Newtown's Kynwal Durling got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 67 minutes of play, UWA Newtown's Gwyglet Snobscat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Parry Cottle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 77 minutes, Rhun Cleary managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
