Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rhun Cleary took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gorlois Earley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyglet Snobscat in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, UWA Newtown's goalkeeper Guinglain Herrington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merlin Donnelly. When Bangor FC's Kian Brent in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UWA Newtown's goalie prevented a goal. Kian Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Merlin Donnelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Kian Brent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Newtown's Guinglain Herrington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarrant Keele charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarrant Keele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, UWA Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarrant Keele to maneuver through the defense. Guinglain Herrington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merlin Donnelly in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Kian Brent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhun Cleary in the 23rd minute of play forced Bangor FC's goalkeeper Gorlois Earley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gwyglet Snobscat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guinglain Herrington was a little too slow when Tudur Holcomb got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Merlin Donnelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Guinglain Herrington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kian Brent came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Bangor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kian Brent couldn't finish the play. After having played for 42 minutes, Gwyglet Snobscat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Newtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwyglet Snobscat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rhun Cleary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Bangor FC's Gorlois Earley got control of the ball when Gwyglet Snobscat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Newtown's zone, Kian Brent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guinglain Herrington came out of the goal and Kian Brent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Gwyglet Snobscat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Newtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwyglet Snobscat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Kian Brent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guinglain Herrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorlois Earley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhun Cleary, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gorlois Earley made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gwyglet Snobscat sent off a good shot on target. Nerth Cain hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Wmffre Felix sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UWA Newtown's Guinglain Herrington didn't even have to move. Kian Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UWA Newtown's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
