Bedyw Bailie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadwaladr Gore in the 4th minute of play. Llandysul's Nentres Leary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Llandysul from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwawl Garth in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bedyw Bailie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gwawl Garth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedyw Bailie having to interfere. The supporters of Llandysul booed when UWA Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mael Tucker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedyw Bailie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwawl Garth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadwaladr Gore in the 33rd minute of play forced UWA Knighton's goalkeeper Bedyw Bailie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cadwaladr Gore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llandysul's supporters rose to their feet, but Cadwaladr Gore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedyw Bailie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to UWA Knighton getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cadwaladr Gettins hit a great ball. Bedyw Bailie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cadwaladr Gore, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Nentres Leary made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ol Bullock sent off a good shot on target. Mael Tucker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Nentres Leary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Llandysul were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mael Tucker made a kick off. When UWA Knighton's Mael Tucker in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llandysul's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwres Felton in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nentres Leary saved Llandysul from getting behind. Gwres Felton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nentres Leary read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Llandysul's Lovel Henson got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadwaladr Gore in the 71st minute of play forced UWA Knighton's goalkeeper Bedyw Bailie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eryi Davis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. UWA Knighton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cadwaladr Gore 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Ol Bullock hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes, Cadwaladr Gettins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Knighton and the Llandysul players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UWA Knighton getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cadwaladr Gettins hit a great ball. The Llandysul supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Llandysul would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
