Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Soylent Greens's Druce Finn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Iau Coe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Melkin Gant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the UWA Bridgend defense, Druce Finn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melkin Gant. The UWA Bridgend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melkin Gant should have stopped the shot. If Iau Coe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iau Coe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melkin Gant having to interfere. Rhodri Correll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Griffith Law, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Soylent Greens's goal looked a bit too open when Griffith Law came free, but Rhodri Correll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melkin Gant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iau Coe in the 18th minute of play. Rhodri Correll was a little too slow when Griffith Law got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-2. Griffith Law hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Ove Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, UWA Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drych Feltner to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Druce Finn made a precise shot to the right of Melkin Gant. UWA Bridgend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Brys Joynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Griffith Law made a kick off. A collision led to Soylent Greens getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Garselid Crabtree hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Soylent Greens's goal looked a bit too open when Griffith Law came free, but Rhodri Correll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albanwr Kellock kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Melkin Gant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Druce Finn in the 60th minute of play. Druce Finn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Melkin Gant made a huge save. A collision led to Soylent Greens getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Elphin Charlton hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Iau Coe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Druce Finn might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melkin Gant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Druce Finn ran back to his position shaking his head. Rhodri Correll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alawn Bauer in the 72nd minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Soylent Greens got a freekick which was hit by Iau Coe. Mostyn Gapen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iau Coe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Melkin Gant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mostyn Gapen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melkin Gant having to interfere. Mostyn Gapen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melkin Gant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Druce Finn took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Melkin Gant to make any attempt to save it.
