After recieving a nice pass, Swansea's Bedwyr Brooks tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edmyg Rush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerthach Cranston, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Nerthach Cranston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Avaon Ordinary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes, UWA Maesteg's Cairn Leather shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomos Folds came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UWA Maesteg reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Selyf Gilroy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomos Folds. That made the score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Accalon Canning made the kick off in the second half. Tomos Folds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selyf Gilroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, UWA Maesteg's Edmyg Rush got control of the ball when Avaon Ordinary tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmyg Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerthach Cranston in the 56th minute of the match. Nerthach Cranston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmyg Rush came out and tried to block the shot, but Nerthach Cranston slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Swansea's Nerthach Cranston ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmyg Rush. Edmyg Rush yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Waljan Finneran kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Accalon Canning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Avaon Ordinary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Avaon Ordinary managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swansea's supporters rose to their feet, but Avaon Ordinary was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmyg Rush breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes UWA Maesteg got a freekick which was hit by Accalon Canning. A collision led to UWA Maesteg getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Accalon Canning hit a great ball. When Nerthach Cranston in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Edmyg Rush kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Cairn Leather was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Accalon Canning blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomos Folds having to make a save. UWA Maesteg's Edmyg Rush proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save UWA Maesteg from getting a goal against them. When Nerthach Cranston came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Swansea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nerthach Cranston couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, UWA Maesteg's Edmyg Rush got control of the ball when Avaon Ordinary tried to sneak it across the goal line. The UWA Maesteg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Swansea were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
