Llwydeu Jay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Griffith Law, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Porthcawl Utd booed when UWA Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drych Feltner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes UWA Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Gwalchmei Harley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lumpp in the 38th minute of play forced UWA Bridgend's goalkeeper Melkin Gant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Lumpp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Melkin Gant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alawn Bauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Jay having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Griffith Law kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Kent Lumpp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melkin Gant having to interfere. Melkin Gant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Lumpp, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Llwydeu Jay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the game, Ffowc Keele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porthcawl Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Bridgend the free kick. In the 67th minute, one of Porthcawl Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Porthcawl Utd. In the 72nd match minute, UWA Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drych Islip to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Drystan Bowden sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melkin Gant skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Griffith Law got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alawn Bauer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Llwydeu Jay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Griffith Law had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UWA Bridgend getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gwalchmei Harley hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Kent Lumpp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkin Gant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Griffith Law managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Griffith Law was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Porthcawl Utd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UWA Bridgend for a fine match.
