After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gerallt Hailey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porthcawl Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerallt Hailey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmyg Rush breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Selyf Gilroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwydeu Jay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Porthcawl Utd booed when UWA Maesteg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teithi Snob didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Drystan Bowden sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmyg Rush skillfully saved the ball. Yale Lamph might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmyg Rush. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yale Lamph ran back to his position shaking his head. Yale Lamph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
