Emrys Collier might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Llwydeu Jay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emrys Collier ran back to his position shaking his head. Celyn Hubert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute of the match Baudwin Bushfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Llwydeu Jay skillfully saved the ball. After 33 minutes of play, UWA Denbigh's Celyn Hubert made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llwydeu Jay was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Yale Lamph got free with Dagonet Canning in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, UWA Denbigh's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Lumpp came free, but Dagonet Canning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Porthcawl Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peissawg Driscoll to maneuver through the defense. UWA Denbigh's Celyn Hubert got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llwydeu Jay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emrys Collier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celyn Hubert to strike the kick off in the second half. If Celyn Hubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. In the 63rd match minute, Porthcawl Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerallt Hailey to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Celyn Hubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwydeu Jay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Celyn Hubert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Porthcawl Utd's Drystan Bowden got a free kick in the 76th minute. Celyn Hubert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Jay having to interfere. Llwydeu Jay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celyn Hubert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yale Lamph in the 88th minute of play forced UWA Denbigh's goalkeeper Dagonet Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yale Lamph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yale Lamph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagonet Canning having to interfere.
