Spectators: 7830 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) Newport Utd's Lludd Featherston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teregud Kirk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Druce Finn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brys Joynes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newport Utd's Teregud Kirk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iau Coe in the 8th minute of play. Newport Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Iau Coe scored to the left of an out of position Teregud Kirk, making the score, 1-0. After 15 minutes of play, Soylent Greens's Druce Finn made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teregud Kirk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Druce Finn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Teregud Kirk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Druce Finn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Druce Finn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Teregud Kirk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elphin Charlton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teregud Kirk having to interfere. If Elphin Charlton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Iau Coe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Druce Finn made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Soylent Greens's zone, Llyr Knight stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhodri Correll came out of the goal and Llyr Knight tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Dafydd Aldridge in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soylent Greens's Mostyn Gapen. 63 minutes into the game, Iau Coe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Teregud Kirk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iau Coe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teregud Kirk having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lludd Featherston in the 75th minute of play forced Soylent Greens's goalkeeper Rhodri Correll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iau Coe came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Soylent Greens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iau Coe couldn't finish the play. Druce Finn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Teregud Kirk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Albanwr Cummins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Soylent Greens got a freekick which was hit by Brice Gannon. There was no doubt that Soylent Greens were the better team. Soylent Greens's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
