Iau Coe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Jay having to interfere. Brys Joynes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ove Forsell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Porthcawl Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ove Forsell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Iau Coe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Soylent Greens's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 22ndth minute of the game Druce Finn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porthcawl Utd's Llwydeu Jay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elphin Charlton charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elphin Charlton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Soylent Greens getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Elphin Charlton hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Druce Finn in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llwydeu Jay saved Porthcawl Utd from getting behind. When Soylent Greens's Druce Finn in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porthcawl Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Elphin Charlton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Soylent Greens's Druce Finn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Llwydeu Jay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Porthcawl Utd booed when Soylent Greens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elphin Charlton didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lumpp in the 38th minute of play forced Soylent Greens's goalkeeper Rhodri Correll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soylent Greens were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Porthcawl Utd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ove Forsell took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Iau Coe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Peissawg Driscoll hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Druce Finn made a precise shot to the right of Llwydeu Jay. Porthcawl Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Brys Joynes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soylent Greens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brys Joynes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Llwydeu Jay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brys Joynes in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peissawg Driscoll kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rhodri Correll. That made the score 3-1 in the 57 minute of play. After some careless play in the Porthcawl Utd defense, Iau Coe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Llwydeu Jay. The Porthcawl Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Llwydeu Jay should have stopped the shot. Soylent Greens's Rhodri Correll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Soylent Greens from getting a goal against them. When Mostyn Gapen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soylent Greens's protests and gave Mostyn Gapen a yellow card for diving instead. Iau Coe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Mostyn Gapen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Soylent Greens's Mostyn Gapen got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Iau Coe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Druce Finn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Jay having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kent Lumpp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rhodri Correll was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Soylent Greens were the better team. Soylent Greens's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
