After 18 minutes, Lludd Tinsmith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bangor FC and the UWA Denbigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for UWA Denbigh. Govynyon Bray stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mawrth Lea. 0-1. In the 26th minute, Dewey Avery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhyawdd Bowen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Govynyon Bray put in a rough tackle. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gwallawg Convery made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Oswallt Gillmor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Denbigh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bangor FC the free kick. After having played for 60 minutes, Emrys Collier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Denbigh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emrys Collier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dagonet Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwallawg Convery in the 66th minute of the match. Dagonet Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwallawg Convery in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Bangor FC's Gwallawg Convery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagonet Canning made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Rhyawdd Bowen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagonet Canning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Rhyawdd Bowen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhyawdd Bowen in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dagonet Canning saved UWA Denbigh from getting behind. Dagonet Canning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwallawg Convery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rhyawdd Bowen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwallawg Convery's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dagonet Canning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. With his leg Mawrth Lea managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when UWA Denbigh's Emrys Collier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
