Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1786, VIP seats: 0) Bangor FC's Mawrth Lea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhun Barnett in the 3rd minute of play. If Nynnyaw Linkletter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhyawdd Bowen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mawrth Lea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nynnyaw Linkletter in the 13th minute of the match. Gwallawg Convery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22ndth minute of the game Gwallawg Convery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Aberystwyth's Edern Gaughan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Bangor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rhun Barnett came free, but Mawrth Lea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Rhun Barnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mawrth Lea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bangor FC's Gwallawg Convery got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edern Gaughan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwallawg Convery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhyawdd Bowen in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edern Gaughan saved UWA Aberystwyth from getting behind. A collision led to UWA Aberystwyth getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Corryn Fry hit a great ball. Rhyawdd Bowen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Gwallawg Convery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bangor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwallawg Convery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of UWA Aberystwyth booed when Bangor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dyvyr Cock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwallawg Convery stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caerwyn Langley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, UWA Aberystwyth's goal looked a bit too open when Rhyawdd Bowen came free, but Edern Gaughan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhyawdd Bowen struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Edern Gaughan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bangor FC. With a little luck, Bangor FC's Mawrth Lea got control of the ball when Rhun Barnett tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Nynnyaw Linkletter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mawrth Lea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gwallawg Convery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Aberystwyth's zone, Rhyawdd Bowen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edern Gaughan came out of the goal and Rhyawdd Bowen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rhun Barnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mawrth Lea having to interfere. Rhun Barnett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mawrth Lea made a huge save. If Rhun Barnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nynnyaw Linkletter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Bangor FC got a freekick which was hit by Dewey Avery. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rhun Barnett managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Aberystwyth's supporters rose to their feet, but Rhun Barnett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mawrth Lea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nynnyaw Linkletter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mawrth Lea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, March Cottrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rhun Barnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhun Barnett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mawrth Lea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the UWA Aberystwyth players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bangor FC.
