Clyde Hildreth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwyglet Dell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Clyde Hildreth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celyn Hubert, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emrys Collier in the 19th minute of play forced Wales's goalkeeper Clyde Hildreth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clyde Hildreth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emrys Collier went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswallt Gillmor in the 40th minute of play forced Wales's goalkeeper Clyde Hildreth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arthur Birkbeck fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Denbigh's protests and gave Arthur Birkbeck a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UWA Denbigh! In the 44th minute, Ieuan Holden made a precise shot to the right of Dagonet Canning. UWA Denbigh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After the first half UWA Denbigh were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Celyn Hubert made the kick off in the second half. Cadwgawn Bowden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Clyde Hildreth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clyde Hildreth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celyn Hubert in the 61st minute of play. Seith Godwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dagonet Canning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clyde Hildreth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celyn Hubert in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th play minute Emrys Collier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Clyde Hildreth. 1-4. In the 77th minute, Oswallt Gillmor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Seith Godwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Seith Godwin made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. UWA Denbigh's Dagonet Canning tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, UWA Denbigh's Baudwin Bushfield got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience cheered when Ieuan Holden's long shot passed Dagonet Canning's right side. It was 3-4, 90 minutes into the match. Celyn Hubert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over UWA Denbigh could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wales throughout the match.
