Kent Lumpp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Yale Lamph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cadeyrn Pattern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Wrexham FC got a freekick which was hit by Rhobert Griffin. Kent Lumpp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadeyrn Pattern having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porthcawl Utd's goalkeeper Llwydeu Jay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Wrexham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yale Lamph came free, but Cadeyrn Pattern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wrexham FC's Rhobert Griffin got a free kick in the 28th minute. Siencyn Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Jay having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melkin Hurlburt to strike the kick off in the second half. Wrexham FC's Melkin Hurlburt got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerallt Hailey during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wrexham FC booed when Porthcawl Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position.
